Go Hotel Shnelli has completed its transition to a fully digital accommodation system, introducing contactless room access via door codes. This new solution allows pre-registered guests to go directly to their rooms upon arrival, without stopping at the reception desk.
“The world is moving rapidly toward digital and sustainable solutions – people want to do things themselves, easily and conveniently. Self-service at airports and ports is a great example, and our goal is to bring the same level of convenience to our guests. Now, guests can head straight to their rooms without waiting at reception,” said Alver Pupart, General Manager of Go Hotel Shnelli.
Go Hotel Shnelli is the first hotel in the world to use WebLock smart locks powered entirely by electricity.
The new system eliminates the need for nearly a thousand plastic key cards per year. Since the e-locks run on electricity rather than batteries or accumulators, the solution is also more environmentally friendly.
Digital Comfort Meets Eco-Friendly Innovation
We designed the system to be as simple and user-friendly as possible. After making a reservation, guests receive a registration form that can be completed either before arrival or on-site using a self-service kiosk. Once the form is filled out, guests receive a confirmation along with a personal door code that grants access to their room, the elevator, and other hotel areas.
