Intercom System 2.0.

How many of your friends’ apartment numbers do you have memorized? Has it ever happened that you have had to call your friend at the front door of an apartment building to ask for his apartment number again? With the information in hand, you select a number from the apartment buzzer. The speakerphone in the apartment rings, the owner picks up the handset and opens the door by pressing the button. With WebLock, however, you can do all of these things much more easily.

With WebLock, the apartment owner can open the door using a mobile app to let a guest in during a phone call. There is no need for the guest to dial a number from the apartment intercom and for the owner to walk to the speakerphone in the apartment. The apartment owner doesn’t even have to be at home at the same time to open the door. Just as with the front door, the mobile app can be used to open other entrances to the house, such as the garage door.

A WebLock account is managed by a house administrator, who gives each occupant a WebLock application key. The owner of each apartment can appoint the persons allowed to use it, not just one person but exactly as many as needed. If necessary, the house manager can remove these rights with a few clicks, for example, if the tenants in the apartment change or the owner changes. In addition to WebLock’s mobile app, residents can also open access with key cards, chips, and codes.

Unlike the traditional intercom system, the WebLock solution has its own unique code. The code can also be issued to the postal office and courier companies and they no longer have to make a copy of the keys. The system also makes it easy to identify to whom the door chip or code issued was used to enter the house, or from which mobile phone the door was opened. In this way, if necessary, you can also check whether the cleaner was in the stairwell on cleaning day. Of course, skeptical apartment owners who are skeptical about new solutions can also enter the house with a regular key.

In addition to the WebLock mobile app, residents can also open the apartment building door and general entrances with key cards, chips, and codes. Lost key cards, chips, and codes can also be canceled remotely without using the mobile app. Unlike the traditional intercom system, the WebLock solution has its own unique code.
